Hello there visitor, thanks for taking your time to know me a bit better.
My name is Alessandro, I am from Treviso, a little city near Venice, as I like to describe it when I am abroad to non Italians friend.
Since ever, I have been interested to innovation, science and technologies. I remember that time in high school, where during a general assembly, we watched An Inconvenient Truth, a 2006 documentary film about former United States Vice President Al Gore’s campaign to raise awareness about global warming issue. From that moment on, I understood that what I wanted to do with my remaining years was working on technologies that could address key issues and improve people lives, but I am still trying to figure out how.
I continued my education getting a Bachelor in Economics and a Master Degree in Innovation Management at Trento’s University jointly with Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
In the meantime, I have joined many student organisation and extracurricular activities. The one that had the biggest impact has been AIESEC. AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. It is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. Between 2015 and 2019, I had the opportunity to cover several formative role, that sparked the interest in themes like data analysis & visualisation, digital process automation, and front-end development.
Getting to nowadays, I am working as a Customer Engagement Consultant in an Italian software house. I work mainly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. What do I do in my free-time? I am very passionate about photography, music, and travelling.
I decided to open this blog in order to create a small personal portfolio, share what I have found interesting and have a platform to connect with other opportunities.
What about you?
